I am greatly looking forward to going back to Devon and holding it in my hot little paws. I had it sent there because that is where my vinyl player is currently residing. I miss my vinyl collection but sadly I don't think I have room for the turntable, amplifier and huge speakers here in Holloway.
Sometimes, in catalogues that come free with the Daily Mail and similiar organs, I see all-in-one record players that have built in amplifier and speakers. I don't expect the sound quality would be as good but it would be a satisfactory stop-gap. I've been pondering buying one for some time. Maybe I'll start buying screamingly right-wing middle-brow tabloids again ;)
