vieannelyle has come! I am pleased :D

She is impressed with the accommodation on offer at Maison Ponce, especially the tiger print floor tiles upstairs. I have got a few days off work now so I can relax a bit and maybe show Mrs Lyle the local delights.

Yesterday I had to subtitle the show Animal Park, about Longleat Safari Park. I had expected to see nice footage of lions but sadly most of the programme was about a dung beetle called Hercules who would only eat fruit.

Oh dear! You must have caught it from reading my LJ. You had better not wear contact lenses, watch TV or look at the computer for too long. Just sit and stare into space like a simpleton :)

I'm thinking of laying for hours on end with my eyes gently closed will take care of this. I'm definately not getting enough sleep these days.

Oh sleep didn't do it much good but I bought some lubricating eye drops and it feels okay again, yay for drugs!

Aw, I am awfully pleased the Tea-Hen approves of the accommodation and poncy surroundings of Maison Ponce. That's well flattering!
Please do apologise to her about the inadequate laundry facilities and that blasted faulty tap in La Quornerie though.

I bought an international phonecard that looks like a receipt and will let me talk for about 15 min. I will call my poncy landline tonight, so please do answer!
