Today I had a day off work to go to collect my prescription. I still have to go all the way to Peckham to get it, which takes up to an hour. I ought to change surgery to somewhere in Islington, but I don't know a good one. I have had quite bad experiences with Acorn Surgery in Peckham and I don't want to go through the hassle of signing up to another one just to receive a bad service again.

Afterwards I had a nice lunch of baguette with Tyrol ham, which is a dry-cured ham smoked over juniper. Then I fell asleep for some hours.

I spent part of the evening with my synthesizer, refining some sounds for use in some songs I have written. I haven't spent much time with my friend electric recently but I am trying to devote more attention to it now. I find it satisfying to create new sounds and enjoy learning to use all the machine's different features. The arpeggiator is one of the more instantly gratifying ones as it allows you to produce a sequence of notes just by holding down one key. It has a built-in vocoder, too, although I spend most of my working day emitting robotic utterances, so I don't really need it ;)
