Too cool for school
Jun. 1st, 2007 06:30 pmYesterday night Sarah and I went to Ghost School, a night in Hoxton organised by our friends Camilla and Alex. It was at a bar I'd never been to called The Macbeth, on Hoxton Street opposite some council flats.
We met Neil and a couple of other mates, and had a very good time, dancing a bit and eating complimentary iced cakes while listening to Girls Aloud. The venue was nice, with plenty of comfortable seating and quite good live sound for bands. The music was a nice mixture of electronic pop, indie pop and pop pop.
Outside afterwards, I took this photo of Neil and Sarah, which reminds me a bit of early Human League promo artwork, if I do say so myself. What a good name for a shop.
