May. 9th, 2007 08:00 amDo any of you know anyone who's really good at html and MySpace page design? We want to revamp the band page and haven't had much luck finding anyone so far. Any suggestions gratefully received.
The band is now called State City Disco as the name Alex Surguy and The State was a bit of a mouthful and The State was already registered to another band.
I recently did over my own MySpace, having a go at cobbling it together rather than using a pre-made layout. I made my own Scarface contact table. Yes, I do want a medal. I'd like to do some more editing to it when I have an idle moment. I especially enjoy nice fonts.
Darius Danesh is going to be in Guys and Dolls! Maybe Owly Joy like to com up to London and see him being the matinee idol he was always meant to be, when Tea Hen goes to France.
I went to Foreign, the night that replaces Anti-Social at the Bar Music Hall, on Saturday. It's very much like Anti-Social, except it has a theme of a different country or city every week. The theme was London, but it wasn't rigidly enforced. Next week's is Glasgow and there will be free Mars bars given out, apparently. Sarah gave Scottee, the host, our band's demo CD.
On Monday Tea Hen (Mrs Lyle) came to London and brought me a nice dark wood effect bureau with ornate metal handles, which we put on the landing. The next day she put some sealant on my bath and we spent the afternoon watching matinee films on Film Four.
