All very well, in theory

I passed my driving theory test, I'm pleased to say. I scored 100% in the multiple choice questions! Don't even *think* about sounding the horn unnecessarily in the hours of darkness. I'm not looking forward to the practical test, but the instructor has obviously sensed my mentalist-disorderist tendencies and has given me some information about neuro-linguistic programming, a kind of self-help philosophy that tries to make you feel better about the trials of life. I don't know anything about it but will have a look into it.

I have had a raging earache and sore throat for the last three days, and I'm really trying to avoid talking at all. I will be going to work tomorrow, but if it gets too painful I will just go home.

I've spent the last few days malingering in my bijou appartment, eating tuna sandwiches and self-medicating, and watching Crufts. Yesterday was great, it was toy dogs day! They had three delightful specimens in the studio, all clambering about on the sofa like cuddly toys come to life.
