I had a very nice Easter. My mother visited and brought Lindt eggs for me and Sarah. We also got chocolate rabbits, purportedly "from Cassie" but really from the nice lady who walks her for Sarah when she's busy being an non-digging archaeologist and I'm not awake yet. I gave my mother a Green and Black's egg, which was delicious. I didn't use to like Green and Black's as much as the sweeter varieties, but I suppose my palate has changed a bit over time.
We had a nice, relaxing weekend, for the most part, apart from the task of attempting to buy curtain rings from Tottenham B&Q - FAIL as they didn't even have enough of that household essential. I am fed up of that joint, they never have anything I want. In the end we got what we wanted from Wickes. My local Wickes has been on the TV news because of the groups of allegedly rowdy Eastern Europeans that hang out there trying to get black market work in the building trade. I've never seen any such activity, but then the police have usually moved them on by the time I'm awake.
Yesterday we took Sarah's mum to Spitalfields market to have a look round and hopefully buy some nice accessories or clothes. FAIL again as the stalls at Spitalfields have declined noticeably in quality and variety.

On a more positive note, I have been delighted recently by the wealth of Euro-pop available freely on Soulseek. It's easy to download and use compared to programs like E-Mule. I didn't like French music when I lived in France as it was in my face all the time, but now I've found a '80s few gems by Etienne Daho and Vanessa Paradis that are quite lovely.
