Ronnyssime!!!

Yes!!! Some lovely, philanthropic person has put up live footage of Ronny performing Blue Cabaret on YouTube! It is very good quality and is obviously rarissime.

This is the first video footage I have ever seen of her singing a song, so I am thrilled. She is every bit as brilliant a performer as I imagined she would be - although her routine consists pretty much of, er wearing a hat and then not wearing a hat, she manages to captivate and really interpret the song so effectively. The eyebrow movements and fringe flicks just kill me. For me this performance embodies the pure essence of New Romanticism more than any other.
