Hair update

As I mentioned earlier, my hair has changed quite dramatically now, through no fault of my own. Here are some pictures.

Salon surprise

Fringe close-up

Initial ambivalence

Side view
When I first saw the olive brown that had replaced the usual platinum blonde, I was quite shocked and dismayed. The stylist said that he couldn't bleach over those bits again for a couple of days, but that he would do it if I came back a few days later.
He also said, however, that he thought the new colour was cool and that he had been trying to create it for ages. How ironic that he should finally succeed by accident! Other people have generally had quite favourable views,
spam_robot77 even said it made me look more androgynous. Which was nice.
The only negative reaction came from Guy, who, in his usual understated fashion, squealed "You're not blonde anymore!" several times. But he was a bit tipsy. I replied that inside, I am very much blond(e), easily as blond(e) as him, oh yes.
I think I will probably keep the colour for the time being, as I have got to quite like having different colour for a change. Also, the way the light brown overlaps the black reminds me of a dark chocolate caramel cup.
