Thai tuck tuck

On Saturday I took some pictures of the spam robot for her friend's 'zine. She then took some of me, which proved to be a mistake as I look horrid in most photos and these were no exception. This isn't meant as a reflection on her photographic skills, of course, more on my modelling skills. I should always refuse when people ask to photograph me, but I'm afraid vanity usually gets the better of common sense in these situations. The worst is when people photograph me in a club - I should always say no but it would seem a bit rude.
On Saturday evening, I went to a Thai restaurant in Finsbury Park called Cats, with Sarah and her friends. One of them, Davide, is a hairdresser specialising in unusual styles. He might do my hair soon if he can find the time. The food was delicious - I had a curry called beef massanda, with potatoes, coconut milk and peanuts.
Then we went on to Fan Club, at its new venue, Clockwork in Islington. Clockwork is a nice venue, it has more of a disco feel than the Purple Turtle, where the club used to be held. It has a proper dancefloor and smart, modern decor. We enjoyed electric blue cocktails and met our friends Ross, Julia, Matt and Nick. They played quite a few good 80's tunes, including Love Is A Battlefield and Kids In America.
Tomorrow I shall be going to see Villette at the Bull and Gate. It's in Archway, conveniently close to where I live - one of the advantages of living in North London. I really appreciate being only a short bus ride away from a variety of entertainments.
